Rimmy Malhotra

Rimmy Malhotra is Chief Investment Officer and CEO of New York City-based money management firm Gratio Capital – while traditional in its approach to value investing and wealth generation, the firm is progressive in its approach to giving back to society.

RIMMY’S HISTORY OF DOING WELL
Most recently Rimmy served as an equity analyst at a New York-based hedge fund. While there, he was responsible for idea generation, research and monitoring of ideas in the funds' portfolio. Rimmy started his career as a Management Associate with the Citibank Private Bank working between the group's New York and Argentina offices.

RIMMY’S HISTORY OF DOING GOOD
Rimmy also brings a number of years of experience in the not-for-profit sector. From 1999-2002, after working at Citibank, Rimmy served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica working in the Youth at Risk Program. His projects were recognized as models by the Peace Corps and were ultimately used to train new incoming volunteers. In 2004 Rimmy was selected as a finalist for the White House Fellows program.

Rimmy has an MBA from The Wharton School focusing in Finance, as well as an MA International Relations from the Lauder Institute at The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Arts and Sciences. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University where he received a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Economics.
